RESIDENT COMPANY, 2018 WINTER/SPRING SEASON, & THE ROTARY SHOW

AUDITION CALL FOR MALE AND FEMALE ACTORS
(of any age with any level of experience)

On Dec. 9th we will be hosting Auditions for anyone wishing to be considered for performing opportunities at the Highland Arts Theatre. This is a general call to gauge interest and meet people, call backs for specific show may be scheduled at a later date on a case by case basis. Anyone wishing to be considered for our 2018 Resident Company, Winter Season, or The Tribute to the Rotary Show should submit for consideration.

AUDITION DATE: December 9th, 2017
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: 11:59 PM on December 6th, 2017

(**Note – All applicants must submit by this date, no drop in auditions due to time restraints)


PERFORMERS OF ALL CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS AND ETHNICITIES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT.

 

Shows immediately casting include:

HAT RESIDENT COMPANY (Ages 10 and up, Monday Evenings starting January 15th)
DISCO STREET (March 13 to 17)
THE PENELOPIAD (April 17 to 22)
THE HAPPY PRINCE (May 15 to 19)
A TRIBUTE TO THE ROTARY SHOW (June 5 to 9)



Musicians and dancers are strongly encouraged to audition - no acting experience required. Please indicate in your letter if you play an instrument or have dance experience.

Selected parties will be contacted directly for a general audition, or at a later date if invited for call backs for specific roles in specific shows.


IN YOUR SUBMISSION PLEASE INCLUDE:

1) Recent photo (professional quality not necessary)

2) Theatrical Resumé (if applicable - no experience required)


If selected, you will be asked to prepare one monologue or a Musical Theatre song from a show of your choice – pieces should be no more than 2 minutes. Please bring sheet music as a piano accompanist will be provided.
