COMEDY OF ERRORS

by William Shakespeare

Adapted and Directed by Mark Delaney

Summer sun is on its way, and with it, better days! With that in mind, the HAT is proud to announce our next Radical Access Mainstage Production with the revival of a beloved Cape Breton summer tradition: SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK.

The COMEDY OF ERRORS is the Bard up to his old tricks, with mistaken identity and a dizzying mix of wit and slapstick, but it's also Shakespeare at his sharpest and quickest: despite being his single shortest play, it is widely considered to be his funniest.

This production will be directed by none other than BANDSHELL PLAYERS co-founder and frequent HAT contributor Mark Delaney. The play will be featured at three beautiful outdoor locations across the CBRM:

OPEN HEARTH PARK in Sydney (July 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, & 15)

INDIAN BEACH in North Sydney (July 9)

ROSE SCHWARTZ MEMORIAL PARK in New Waterford (July 12)

All performances start at 7:00pm

Tickets: FREE thanks to Radical Access in partnership with CBRM ConnectArts

While the production is general admission, it is essential that you reserve your tickets for you and your bubble to ensure we do not exceed provincial gathering limits in light of COVID-19. You won’t be able to reserve specific seats (it’ll be up to you to bring a blanket and stake out your own physically distanced grassy knoll!) but we will be able to guarantee you a spot on the night of your choice. Anyone without a ticket will be turned away (pending provincial limits).
