DIRECTOR’S NOTES:
I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is one of the longest running Off-Broadway musicals of all time. It is a celebration of the modern day mating game. This is an irresistible comedy about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives, in-laws and much more. It makes us laugh, think, and also allows us to enjoy a wide spectrum of musical styles from tango to country and everything in between. Although the premise suggests that we try to change the people we love, in fact, doesn't change come naturally in any relationship? We must evolve over time to stay present to the current moment or we can easily stagnate. I have enjoyed revisiting this show and working with this spectacular cast and with Mr. Chris Mounteer.
