The 25th CONFIDENTIAL MUSICAL THEATRE PROJECT

Can you keep a secret?

The Highland Arts Theatre is proud to announce: The 25TH edition of the Cape Breton Confidential Musical Theatre Project.., SWEENEY TODD!

If you're in for a silly, laugh-out-loud, outrageous, "no they didn't!" good time, this might just be the perfect place to be.

HOW IT WORKS:

• We choose a Broadway musical.

• We cast the musical with the best performers possible regardless of age, race, body type, or gender.

• We get them their scripts and scores and ask them to familiarize themselves with their role(s).

• We ask them not to reveal the title of the musical or their role in it to anyone.

• With NO rehearsals, we all meet for the first time on the night of the performance and start the musical.

• The challenge for the performers: create an ensemble on their feet in front of an audience.

• The audience shows up without knowing what show they're going to see..

The only rule: We don't stop - no matter what happens…

Essentially, you get to see the First Rehearsal, Dress Rehearsal, Opening Night, and Closing Night all in the span of two hours!

Sound like fun? You have no idea. Join the limited group who will experience a show like no other that can never be repeated!

SHHH… The next Confidential Musical Theatre Project is on January 23rd!
