The HAT Academy is already gearing up for the Summer! We are back with our HATCH Summer Camps and we can’t wait to get started!

We now have camps for youth ages 6 to 18, and we are looking forward to getting to know you all.

Young performers from all levels of experience will be able to choose from a myriad of programs to best match their skill level and interest.

Join us this July and August for one of our Skills & Games camps, or perhaps you would like to get a taste of Broadway, or even create your own show - something for everyone!

Registration is Limited and we expect to fill up quickly, so don’t hesitate to sign up!

Like everyone, we are always waiting to see how things go. If numbers are low in the Eastern Zone, we will be resuming HAT Academy classes at the beginning of July. If conditions worsen in Nova Scotia, we will postpone the semester and any registered parties will be given the option of future credit or a full refund.

If you have any questions about eligibility or skill level, please feel free to e-mail us at: academy@highlandartstheatre.com

There’s something for everyone so take a look!

Scholarships Available:

We are so excited to present another year of Scholarships for our HATCH Summer Camps!

Thanks to our Radical Access program, 100 scholarships are available for the year for interested parties who would otherwise be unable to participate due to financial barriers with priority given to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ Youth. We encourage anyone who wouldn’t otherwise be able to participate to apply!

The deadline for Scholarship Applications is June 4th, 2021. We will contact every applicant the weekend of June 4th to let you know whether your application was successful, if so we will then discuss registration. It is important that you give an email that you check regularly on the application so that we can get in touch with you.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that everyone that applies will be successful, but we try our very best! Please note: A Scholarship Application is not the same as registering for a class and (especially due to COVID) class sizes are extremely limited. And if you are already registered for the class, you will not be eligible for a scholarship.

We are so looking forward to hopefully seeing you again this summer, and as always, if you have any questions, please let me know!
